For our online classes, I noticed students weren't always sure what they were looking at when they first opened their kits. So, I had a biology tutor open a lab kit on camera and go through the kit, explaining each item and what it was used for. If they didn't know at first look unprompted, I told them to pause the video, ask a professor, and then come back and say, "Alright, so I didn't know on this, I asked and here is what I found..." Capturing the student view point has been so valuable!
What a great idea, Tonya! Always valuable when we have student involved and utilize technology.
